For most of her life, Liz Entin assumed death was the end of consciousness. When her father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, however, she found herself asking a question she had never seriously considered before: What if that assumption was wrong?

Rather than turning to faith or accepting extraordinary claims, Liz approached the question as an investigation. Her journey became less about proving an afterlife and more about learning how to evaluate evidence when science has not yet reached definitive answers.

The Journey Began with a Question, Not a Belief

Liz's search did not begin with mediumship or spirituality. It began with grief and a desire to determine whether there was any rational alternative to permanent extinction. Her curiosity first led her to Einstein's theory of relativity and the idea that reality might be more flexible than everyday experience suggests.

As her research expanded, she began studying children's reported past-life memories, near-death experiences, and scientific investigations into consciousness. Throughout the process, she resisted the temptation to reach quick conclusions, preferring instead to collect evidence piece by piece.

The conversation consistently emphasized separating anecdote from research and distinguishing entertainment techniques from scientific investigation.
