Why I Think This Way
What Makes My Problem-Solving Approach Different
Throughout history, the greatest innovators weren’t confined to a single domain. Leonardo da Vinci blended science and art; Nikola Tesla merged engineering with visionary thinking. I follow in that tradition, using logic, creativity, and an unconventional mindset to uncover solutions that others don’t see.
Engineering, Software & Environmental Science Logic
Earning my Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University and working at Motorola as a Process Engineer in semiconductor manufacturing trained me to think systematically. As a verified member of the Apple Developer Program and Senior iOS Developer for Song Chef LLC, I launched a live application on the App Store, mastering data architecture and algorithmic problem-solving. Bridging technology with building physics, I am a board-certified Council-Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) and Council-Certified Microbial Consultant (CMC) through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC). My research on environmental toxins includes a collaborative scientific paper with the Chemistry Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). I have designed state-approved continuing education courses for RedVector, studied fungal spore identification at the McCrone Research Institute, completed residential construction courses at Yavapai College, and trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) via GateWay Community College. I specialize in breaking down complex structural, algorithmic, and environmental health issues into highly solvable parts.
Creative Collaboration as an Artist
Working as a recording artist and singer-songwriter under the pseudonym Daniel Isle Sky, I learned the power of cross-disciplinary collaboration and deep listening. Co-writing and creating music with diverse creators sharpened my ability to find the heart of a story, streamline communication, and co-create unique solutions.
Resilience in Mountaineering
Conducting historic big-wall exploration and first ascents in Zion National Park—including the first known ascents of the Meridian Tower and the North Bishopric forged a mindset of resilience and creativity under pressure. Documented across multiple editions of the American Alpine Journal, exploring uncharted routes taught me that when no path exists, you must systematically map a new one.
I see the world differently because I don’t specialize in just one field. My mind is wired to analyze technical complexities, simplify the impossible, and create cross-disciplinary solutions that work.
