Yes. That doesn't mean it reduces exposure.
In this experiment, a piece of tin foil caused the electric field meter to read both higher and lower at different times. The takeaway isn't whether foil—or copper jewelry—work.
Changing the reading on a meter is not the same as proving a field disappeared or exposure is reduced.
